Rethinking prosperity? This could be the conference for you

Rethinking prosperity: experiments in local economics will be held from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, 14th November 2013 at Bridge 5 Mill, Manchester. The conference is being organised by the Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES), the centre for Research on Socio-Economic Change (CRESC), Equalities NW, Steady State Manchester and MERCi.

Subjects will range from procurement, housing retro-fit and sustainable food to the engagement of local government and civil society. There will also be an exhibition space available during breaks and at the end of the day.
