Greater Manchester Businesses can learn how to drive Sustainable Growth
GC Business Growth Hub has partnered with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) to help SMEs in the area looking to bid for contracts with TfGM.
Held in Manchester City Centre across three dates between May and June at TfGM’s headquarters on Piccadilly Place, the three half-day sessions aim to help businesses maximise their chances of winning public-sector contracts.
These sessions will give SMEs practical actions, tools and techniques.
They can use these to manage and improve their bottom line profitability and help them to win contracts through enhanced environmental credentials. Being able to speak the language of the customer and demonstrate capability through actions will significantly improve the SME’s chances of winning public-sector contracts in a competitive market.
In particular, many small-medium sized companies aren’t aware a key deciding factor for a successful bid with public bodies can be the firm’s environmental credentials. Therefore, the three sessions will focus on helping SMEs learn how they can boost their environmental credentials.
The three half-day sessions are;
11 May - Developing an Effective Environmental Policy Statement
8 June - Motivating an Energy Efficient Workforce
15 June - Making the Business Case and Financing Your Investment Projects
